Considering a career in the electrical industry?

The electrotechnology industry (electrical trades) impacts on nearly every aspect of daily life. This qualification will allow you to start a career working in the electrical trade; you will learn all phases of electrical systems and equipment from installation, testing, repair and maintenance. The electrotechnology industry covers a range of areas from traditional light and power electrician; to hardware platforms and other electrical networking automation systems through to the internet and fibreoptics.

UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start)

This qualification covers competencies for work entry program providing grounding in safety and basic skills and knowledge for work in any electrotechnology discipline.

UEE30811 Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician

This qualification provides competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in building and premises. It includes ERAC requirements for an ‘Electrician’s licence’.
