Are you a qualified tradesperson with an electrical background or an electrical apprentice nearing completion of your training that is looking to upskill in the area of instrumentation?
The Certificate IV in Electrical – Instrumentation provides a pathway to gain a nationally recognised qualification in instrumentation.

Course Information
The Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation provides competencies to select, install, commission, fault find and maintain electrical instrumentation systems and core instrumentation equipment for process and control.
This course will help you gain the skills and knowledge to progress within the electrotechnology industry. You will learn how to work with pressure, level, temperature, and flow and their application to analytical instruments for process and control.
Duration
This course is self-paced with two lots of one week practical workshop training. There will be two Electrical Instrumentation courses that will commence in 2021.
The course dates for 2021 are as follows:
Course 1:
- Practical Block 1: Monday 12th April – Friday 16th April
- Practical Block 2: Monday 5th July – Friday 9th July
Course 2:
- Practical Block 1: Monday 2nd August – Friday 6th August
- Practical Block 2: Monday 18th October – Friday 22nd October

This program are funded by the Department of Training and Workforce Development through ‘Jobs and Skills WA’
Until December 31 2021 this course comes under the Lower Fees, Local Skills Initiative.
This means course fees have been cut in half!
