At ATC we offer a range of Electrotechnology qualifications that will allow you to start a career in the electrical trade. If you would like to be an electrical installer/mechanic, a maintenance electrician, work in domestic, commercial or the mining industry or in specialist field like as renewable energy or automation start your career here.

What is involved in this industry?

Becoming an electrician will create opportunities and paths that will lead you to a life-long rewarding career.

The electrotechnology industry covers a range of areas from traditional light and power electrician; to hardware platforms, electrical networking, automation systems, internet and fibre-optics.

As an electrician, you will learn all phases of electrical systems and equipment from installation, wiring, developing circuits, interpreting electrical drawings, testing, repair and maintenance.

Fees and Charges

This program are funded by the Department of Training and Workforce Development through ‘Jobs and Skills WA’ .

The Student tuition fees are indicative only and are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Additional fees may apply such as Student service and resource fees

What qualifications do we offer?

UEE30811 – Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician

This qualification provides competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in building and premises. It includes ERAC requirements for an ‘Electrician’s licence’.

To enrol into this qualification, a person must be employed as an apprentice.
